Learn to create a podcast using GarageBand. Explore ways students can add their voice to topics of concern in today’s society. Learning is deepened when students are asked to create products that express what they know or think. Communication and creation skills are essential in shifting learning from passive exercises to active learning experiences. Podcasting increases students’ pride in work as they strive for a high quality product. Increase student engagement, content knowledge, academic vocabulary, critical thinking, and problem solving through podcasting. This session is MacBook specific, cross curricular, and open to all grade levels.
